HISTORY
The Langley name originated in England prior to 1000 A.D. and the spelling has varied over the years. The Langleys were also known to reside in Ireland, Europe and eventually Canada and North America. This branch of the Langley is from Mississippi, Arkansas and eventually California.
There also have been different Coats of Arms granted to different branches of the family name. The most ancient one located is made up of six silver and green vertical stripes, and the crest is a plume of five ostrich feathers emerging from a crown.
